The 38th World Conference will take place at the European University Cyprus in Nicosia.

European University Cyprus has a reputation for quality education with high graduate employability, and has been recognized for its investment in high-tech innovation and engagement with industry and society. European University Cyprus has introduced state-of-the-art technology and boosted the country’s health sector through the establishment of the most advanced School of Medicine in the region. With the launch of the first Dentistry program in the country, the university offers a comprehensive selection of studies in the fields of Medicine and Health Sciences, and attracts academics and students from around the globe.

Following the success of the medical program, European University established the School of Medicine—Frankfurt Branch with its first intake in the Fall 2022 semester. The new campus, in the heart of central Europe, is a cornerstone of the university’s vision for strategic international expansion in higher education. 

QS Top Universities (QS Stars University Ratings), one of the most authoritative international rating organizations, has ranked European University Cyprus as a ‘Five Stars’ institution for its overall assessment. Additionally, European University Cyprus has received five stars for its performance in the areas of teaching, employability, internationalization, online learning, and inclusiveness, as well as the MD Medicine for the competitiveness and strength of the program.

European University Cyprus’ inclusion among the top universities in the world in the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings marks a particularly significant success, as the university ranks among the 201+ universities in the world in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Infrastructure

The on-campus operation of the Start-Up Center powered by Microsoft has further strengthened the university’s focus on innovative research by supporting start-ups and bringing government, academia and industry together to generate new ideas through training, education and knowledge transfer.

European University Cyprus is a key driver in the Cyprus government’s vision to transform the country into a quality education hub in the eastern Mediterranean. 

The main room (plenary room) is called Culture Centre and will host most of the Conference sessions.

The venue also includes more than 20 smaller rooms that will be used for parallel sessions and meetings.

The university campus is located in the modern, up-scale area of Engomi close to restaurants, museums, shops, sports venues and fitness centres. Numerous cinemas, shops, pharmacies and hospitals as well as the Nicosia Mall are located just minutes away from the venue.

The shopping scene of the city has been enhanced with three modern malls and additional high street venues. Nicosia, with its unique landmarks, has an active events calendar with concerts, and festivals throughout the year. The Pedieos walking trail, which runs the length of the city and ends right in its heart, as well as the Athalassa National Park offer an excellent opportunity for relaxing walks or challenging workouts on foot or by bike in nature.
